Programs / Activities
Jordan Public School offers a full complement of student activities. Cross country running, volleyball, basketball, track and field are offered for both boys and girls at the junior and intermediate levels. Intermural activities for students in grades one to eight are offered during the fitness breaks at various times throughout the year.
The Chess Club and Choir operate at different times throughout the year, providing additional experiences. The Student Parliament plays a critical role in providing activities designed to enhance school spirit and pride as well as supporting various charity events. Students are involved in a variety of leadership opportunities at Jordan Public School including student announcers, secretaries, lunch and bus monitors, kindergarten assistants, and pizza helpers. All students are encouraged to participate in the activities offered. Jordan School offers a number of events throughout the school year. Many are planned by staff and students and made possible by the involvement of many volunteers.
